Upcoming QuickBooks Classes at CMC

I’ll be teaching 3 QuickBooks classes at Colorado Mountain College in December.  If you or your staff needs to learn, improve or master QuickBooks, there’s a class or two for you!  Classes will be held from 4 – 6:50 at the CMC campus in Dillon.  Beginner class will be 12/3, Intermediate on 12/10, and Advanced on 12/17.  Call 970-468-5989…cost is $99 for the series of 3, or $40 each.  See you there!

QuickBooks Class in Denver

Knight Accounting & Technology has scheduled a QuickBooks class for the Denver area.  The class will be December 13th from 10:30 – 2:30pm in Arvada.  It will cover topics including: QuickBooks installation and setup, Transaction Entry, Invoicing and Payment Receipts, Downloading, Reconciliations and Reporting.  The cost is $175.  If you are interested, please email Michele Knight (cpa@cpamichele.com) and I’ll send along more details!

QuickBooks Class Scheduled for April 6th

Do you want to learn, or master, QuickBooks?  I’ve scheduled a class at my office in Summit Cove for 10am – 2 pm on Wednesday, April 6th.  The cost is $200 and includes the 4 hour group class + a 30 minutes follow-up phone call.  Topics covered will include QuickBooks basics (Banking, Customer & Vendor Management, A/P, A/R), as well as advanced topics as questions arise (credit card processing, customizing invoices, etc).  For best results, please have yoru company’s QuickBooks file installed on a laptop that you can bring along, but if that’s not possible, we’ll make arrangements.

Now Certified in QuickBooks POS (Point Of Sale)

Just wanted to share the news that I am now a Certified QuickBooks Point of Sale consultant, so if you need any assistance with your QB POS software, or know someone who does, I’m happy to help!  The newest version of the software has some pretty powerful tools, including the ability to sell online, add item pictures, and start a customer rewards loyalty program, so if you are running a retail location and haven’t checked out QB POS yet, now’s the time!  I can get significant discounts for my clients, so let me know if I can help!

QuickBooks 2010 Discounts

QuickBooks 2010 was released earlier this week.  While I don’t think you need to update to 2010 if you are currently using 2008 and 2009, I do believe that you should update your QuickBooks at least every 3 years.  If you are planning to purchase QuickBooks 2010 this year, I can get a discount through the ProAdvisor program, so just let me know!  Here’s the prices that I can offer: Pro $150, Pro-3-User-Edition $420, Mac $150, Premier $280, and Premier-3-User-Edition $820.  As always, please let me know if I can help!

QuickBooks 2010 is on its way!

Intuit just announced that QuickBooks 2010 is scheduled for pre-orders on September 28th.  As a QuickBooks Pro Advisor, I can get a discount if you are interested.  I’m not sure what the normal pricing will be this year (I usually recommend that you check out Costco for great deals on Intuit products), but if you want to get the hands on the software as soon as its released, I can order QuickBooks Pro for $149.95 or QuickBooks Premier for $279.95.  Please let me know if I can help!
